Environmental Supervisor

Trillium is now hiring in Sheridan, OR!

Our client is a leading producer of industrial treated wood products, primarily for utility poles. They are now looking to bring on an Environmental Supervisor who is dedicated to upholding environmental stewardship in the context of pressure treating wood products. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $85k a year plus benefits which include M/V/D, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, and more. 

Duties:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
· Perform audits to identify potential areas of improvement and ensure adherence to environmental standards.

· Develop and oversee environmental training programs for plant employees to ensure awareness and compliance.

· Manage environmental permit applications, renewals, and modifications to ensure timely submissions and approvals.

· Ensure accurate and timely environmental reporting, including emission reports, waste management logs, water discharge data, and other pertinent environmental records.

· Implement and oversee plant level environmental policies, programs, and procedures tailored to the unique needs of the wood treatment process.

Qualifications:
· Two or more years of facility environmental management in the manufacturing industry or environmental consulting related experience

· Bachelors degree in environmental science or environmental field preferred

· Proficiency with Microsoft office???????
